M&A transactions are hence at the center of Monument’s successful growth track record. To support the monitoring of the newly acquired portfolios, and to strengthen the relationships with our customers and our intermediary partners, Monument Assurance Belgium (MAB) is hiring an Account Manager Corporate life for the Dutch speaking part of the country.

Responsibilities

  • After internal training on our insurance products, customer segments and administrative tools, you will join MAB's Operations department, under the direct supervision of our Chief Operations Officer.
  • You manage MAB's Corporate Life portfolio customers (employer, sectoral and self-employed) for the Dutch-speaking part of the country.
  • You will be the backup of your account manager colleague, who manages the portfolio for the French speaking part of the country.
  • You establish and maintain a lasting relationship and collaboration with our customers and provide quality service, based on your business sector knowledge and expertise.
  • You listen to clients and look for opportunities to optimize their supplementary pension plans.
  • You meet and negotiate with market intermediaries (EB consultants, mega-brokers, …).
  • You represent MAB externally, during sector events, seminars, or other marketing activities.
  • You collaborate with the various internal departments of MAB to offer customers a high-quality service.
You define, monitor, and optimize MAB's sales and customer strategy.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master in Insurance, Finance, (Applied) Economics, or other relevant background.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar job in the insurance, financial services or consultancy sector is a strong asset.
  • You are Dutch native speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving as well as stakeholder management skills.
  • Pro-active, service minded, and detail oriented with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast changing organisation with tight deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word).
